After feeling like a bit of cheapskate with my last drink related post I thought I better show that I also carry the ability to branch out.
The Alphabet Bar can be found in Soho, it’s prices obviously reflect its surrounding area- meaning, it aint cheap mate. Because of this I don’t often go but when I do, I must say it is great. Full of young twenty something’s as well the occasional older party the place has a delightful friendly atmosphere and accommodating staff – try asking one of their mixologists to freestyle you a cocktail. You won’t be disappointed believe me.
More than just a bar, the place also serves food and if you have a wander downstairs – unique pieces of art.
A stone’s throw from Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus and Tottenham Court Road so no trouble with access. Worth stopping by if even just for one, albeit a very expensive one.

Looking for the best burger in London? Look no further than Byron Burger.
Made up of some of the best quality meat that Scotland has to offer, nestled between a soft sour dough bun, baked to absolute perfection with jus t the right amound of salad and sauce and cooked to med-rare, dripping with flavour. This is without a doubt, not only the best burger in London, but the best burger that I have ever tried.
Sure, you are tempted to spend shed loads of cash at places like Bar Boulud and sample their towering gourmet burger, or even the architechtural treat that is the George Pubs offering on Liverpool Street. Neither however, will really rise to the platter like a Byron will.
And best of all, it’s cheap. Very cheap. We’re talking a meal and a drink for a tenner. You can’t really argue with that can you? Even if it was terrible you couldn’t argue with that. I mean it’s not terrible. It’s great. But you couldn’t argue....look..just buy one now.
